Evelyn King, has enjoyed a successful career in teaching, university administration and academia, as well as management of cultural heritage and tourism roles for government, the private sector and not-for-profit organisations.

Those roles have involved community development positions in regional, economic, tourism, manufacturing, industrial and export market development, both at Board and Advisory Committee level. She has also been involved in consulting and contracting to organisations for short projects and in particular, developing and managing a range of projects on behalf of government and not-for-profit organisations.

Petra Hilsen holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training.

After working as an engineer in Germany she came to Australia and made a mid career change to manage not for profit childcare cooperatives, engaging in all aspects of managing a business, communicating with all three levels of government and the community, writing funding submissions, helping with fundraising, offering advice on governance to community boards, providing staff training and sitting on the board of Community Child Care and the national not for profit childcare organisation Nacbacs.

Petra strongly believes in the values of social capital building and is now extending her technical skills and community buildings skills to project manage city revitalization initiatives.

Rick Armstrong is a graduate metallurgist who made the change to strategic and business planning during his employment with BHP. His experience in these areas covers strategy development, performance management, business improvement, financial modelling and systems integration.

Cheryl Crichton is our financial manager with a long career in financial record keeping, analysis and reporting. These skills have been extended to the management of Committee and Board activities and reports.

Annette Baker has had a successful career as an administrator and in public relations. She has developed an extensive understanding of working with volunteer groups and social programs.
