Newcastle City Centre Committee
Newcastle’s CBD is undergoing rapid transition from its former character as the centre of an industrial, working port precinct to a flourishing, energetic inner city. Infinitus Advisory has been appointed to manage the projects funded by inner city property owners and businesses to support the revitalisation.
Projects focus on the following areas:

- Security and Safety - (Social Projects)
- Communications and Visitor Attraction - (Social Projects)
- Business Development - (Economic and Governance Projects)
Our current projects Include:
Placemaking
On behalf of the City Centre Committee, Infinitus is working to build partnerships with Newcastle City Council to improve the Public Domain in the City Centre.
We are partnering with Council to bring representatives from Village Well and Place Partners to Newcastle to conduct public seminars on best practice in this area of our program.
Downtown Blitz
Through our related not-for-profit entity, The Switchpoint Institute, Infinitus is partnering with the Department of Juvenile Justice to upgrade small spaces through cleaning, gardening, graffiti removal, painting and minor works.
Graffiti Abatement
Our recently completed Position Paper on Graffiti Abatement methods has been largely adopted by Newcastle City Council and has led to a marked improvement in the visual attractiveness of the City Centre.
